Time Apart

What is the most time apart that you and your SO have spent apart since you started living together?

For my husband and I, it's been three months. Oil Field Life.

  • 8 months is the longest consecutive time, but total we've spent close to 3 years apart.

  • my husband is in the military so we have had several deployments and such but the most recent was a year apart

  • 8 weeks - we lived in different states for 2 years and that was the longest stretch between visits (usually it was more like 4 or 6 weeks).

  • hobbitswife, I know just what you mean. The three months was consecutive, but so far he's been gone for three weeks this time. We've spent almost as much time apart as we have together since we started dating ten and a half years ago.
