  • Please join us
    For a good time
    But please remember
    It's on your own dime

I wouldn't make invites though, if you're not paying - I'd make it "please join us". Inviting usually implies you're paying. Or just call everyone and say you're having a get-together, meeting at whatever time, if they want to eat that's up to them, if they don't they don't have to.

  • Have fun, let the kids play,
but in the end, you have to pay.

  • I like mompam's idea. It's cute, it goes with Halloween and it gets the idea across!
