I did not check off this option: "Email me whenever someone answers this question" However, I still get e-mails. How do I stop this? Thank you

  • It is automatically checked. Before you submit a question you need to make sure it is unchecked.

  • Maybe close out your question. Just look next time you post a question to make sure it's not there. I don't think there's any other way of stopping it other then closing the question

  • Yes, that is an automatic option. You have to click off the little box.

  • Thank you all. I did uncheck it (everythime) but for some reason, I keep getting e-mails. I prefer to read the on the site.

  • On your profile, there is a button to click that says "turn off emails". You can click that, but you won't get any emails at all, and you have to get them to turn it back on for you, so just be aware of it if you want to try it.

  • Have you tried going into your profile settings and changing it? Or have you tried your Inbox settings?
