  • Yes. These are the last days for sure!
(2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
There has always been such things among individuals of course but never until our time have such traits and choices been on a worldwide scale and so acutely part of mankind's identity as a whole.

  • Yes... and not just in the media.

  • No

Because for hundreds of years, this is what people felt about what was going on in the world. We can look at anything by those terms and see what we want to see.

  • No! If people really think that all of those things are new behaviours for humankind, and that the world is worse now that it was 2,000 years ago or 500 years ago, they really need a good history lesson. There has always been war, there has always been abuse, there have always been bad people out there, there have always been floods and earthquakes and volcanoes; it isn't something new. People have been saying the end of days are upon us since the early Christian followers.
