Liberal Parenting Groups...

Are there any groups on here for Liberal Parents? I know there are parents on here who think like me, but there aren't many in the Answers section... I have looked through the groups over and over and just can't find any thing for moms like me - I found groups for conservative parents, but all the "Liberal" groups are for political Liberals, not Parenting Liberals... Are there any I'm missing?

  • Try doing a search for "non-traditional". I think that might be the word you want. Liberal does generally apply to politics.

  • Interesting question. What is a liberal parent? A permissive parent? A parent into gentle discipline? A parent who like alternative schools? Hmm.
I try not to let myself get sucked into the OVER-SIMPLIFIED world view of polarized opposites. (Much the fault of the mainstream media) reality is much more complex and messy..but much more interesting.

  • Is it like going green or something like that? Liberal is something to do with politics.  Good luck.
