Am I being too whiny?

My DH has come home almost every day this week with "something" he has to go do. As I cook dinner he walks into the room and begins the conversation with "I have to go to *****'s house and get....or help with....". It has been every day this week. Today I said fine. I will sit here alone while you are gone again. I quit my job a few months ago with one of the main reasons being "you don't need to work and we need to spend more time together". Am I wrong to point out that this annoys me?

  • I think a great response from you would be, "Give me a couple minutes and I'll come with you."

  • I would do as some suggested and go with. If he protests, then I would say fine, but who knows if I will be here when you get home. And if I felt like it which I probably would - I WOULD leave.
