i am a spotting and having small blood clots is that normal? adult content

i am a concerned mommy i am about 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant and i am spotting. Last night started the brown spotting only when i used the restroom and today it is red and i have worn a pad and hardly any blood has gotten on it. but when i use the restroom blood is in the toilet and i am scared. Is this normal or should i be concerned?

  • are u sure that the blood isnt in ur urine...if none is on the pad...but it is in the toilet when u pee...u may have a bad urinary tract infection. my best advice...not to frighten u...is to go to an e.r. or emergency care center right away. i wish u the best of luck...but miscarriages are very common all the way up to ten weeks even. and no...bleeding and clotting...is certainly something to be concerned. again...i hope the best for u.

  • my doctor said no bleeding during pregnancy is normal. while it is not necessarily indicative of a miscarriage in progress, you should go to the ER.

  • I don't think you need to go to the ER, but you should certainly contact your doctor immediately.

  • Head to the ER. Not to freak you out, but that sounds like a spontaneous abortion (miscarriage).
