Low Cost or No Cost Thanksgiving Craft Ideas?

I am looking for a few really great craft ideas to pass along to my mommy group.

  • Hand print turkeys...Trace your child's hand on brown paper, with fingers fully extended, cut out . Draw an eye on the thumb and decorate the fingers as feathers , add 2 legs on the bottom of the palm. Be sure to put the childs age on the back for your memories

  • small children...hand turkeys...have them trace their hands and cut them out of construction paper then draw a beak. eyes, wattle ect...and color.

  • Coconut ice :D

    There are a few really, really good recipe's online, basically it's dessicated coconut, + icing sugar, + vanilla flavour and i use Carnations Light Condensed milk....
    Mix with hands and leave to dry for 24Hrs. Tastes, wonderful, not a lot of mess, and even if it does get messy, just lick it up.

    Everyone likes to get sweets for Thanksgiving... It's not traditional, but it tastes gorgeous.

    Sprinkle some almonds on top too.... Yum yum yum.
