BF Diet, how many veggies, fruits??

DD is almost 6 months & breastfed, but i don't think my diet is all that great, i do watch what i eat but found that im not eating alot of veggies, i kinda just wing it during the day and at dinner time i make a good dinner for us. What is the 'rule of thumb' for nursing mothers of veggies, fruit and protein. Im trying to stay away from bread, i love bread. lol

  • if yo are sitll BF you should still be on vitamins... as for bread idk why you would need to stay away from it - try whole grains they can actually be kind of sweet if you get the right kind

  • don't stay away from bread. try to eat a veggie, protein, and starch with every meal. fruit as much as possible. juice is not a fruit substitute.
