Would you let your son date a woman, who is old enough to be his mother?

  • It will make for interesting dinner conv during christmas dinner at your house--LOL--- if he is 18 or older there is nothing you can do about it----BUT PLEASE REMEMBER----don't shut him out because you hate her or say things like she cannot come to family gatherings because it hurts so much!!! One side of my family does this to my about my SO and it hurts so much I can't tell you. Remeber once time with family is gone it doesn't come back.

  • My hisband is eight and a half years younger than me and my family had a fit. They said I was robbing the craddle he was 31 and I was 40 that was 13 years ago. We are still together but I don't talk to my family much any more. After 18 you have to respect your children. They are not babies any more and we have to live to learn.

  • My son would be a hell of a lot smarter than that.
    But ,if he wanted to, I would just keep quiet and wait for it to fall apart. Because it would. Fall apart.
    A few years , fine. But 25 years older? Ha. Nope.I am assuming the average age of Moms here is 25. I was 30 when my son was born.
