Still think DADT is harmless?

Sorry, I don't know how to make it "clickable"...

  • More Dynamic...Perspective... STALL TACTICS- Cowards way of dealing.

Get in the 21st century. Military members work for the people. Do not like the rules, you can find another employer-GL with that, BTW- mainstream American employers will not tolerate those antiquated ideals.

I wonder what other government entity has a DADT policy in place?

  • Nope, never did, never will

    Its a barbaric discriminatory law

  • Like I have said many times before... It's much more complicated than just repealing DADT.... The dynamics of the military 'unit', 'family', 'living', etc need to be fully analyzed and possibly modified before one can simply repeal the law...

  • It's a "no decision"- the cowards way of dealing.

  • DADT is definitely NOT okay. It hurts the individuals by constantly perpetuating the "gay is not okay" attitude; they get that enough from everywhere else! It hurts their friends, who know about it but have to keep a secret. It hurts all the troops when one of our military members is discharged for simply being themselves.

  • I've never thought it was harmless. Even when I was serving. I always thought it was discriminatory.

  • *Despite*

BTW, I don't like it either... But it IS the reality.....I recently sat on a military spouses panel where we discussed this issue. There are serious concerns out there that need to be worked out...

  • I've hated that atrocity since Clinton sold out to enact it.
