Where in the Bible does it...

make reference to someone besides Jesus heals the sick or casts out demons??? I just want a scripture.

  • Acts 14:8-10, Paul heals a crippled man. Acts 14: 19-20, Paul receives miraculous healing from the disciples. Acts 16:16-18 Paul casts out a demon.

  • In the book of Acts it talks about the Apostles healing the sick, casting out demons, and even an incident of someone being raised from the dead.

  • I agree, they can cast out demons and heal the sick, but only if they use Jesus name. They can not do it on their own, so I understand what anon is saying and anna as well.

  • No one has disputed that fact. Not sure why you feel the need to say so. Once again, I just needed scripture references. Also, who would vote those answers down? I tell you this whole point thing has gotten way out of hand! What in the world do we need to be able to vote someones answer down for?

  • Others who healed WITHOUT Jesus' name--Vespatian, Apollonius of Tyrana, Attis and Mithras. There were also Elisha and Phillip who performed miricles and healing BEFORE the coming of Jesus.
