  • Several scriptures point to the earth being restored to its intended purpose (Psalm 37:11and 29 ,Proverbs 2:21, Isaiah 65:17 and 21-25, and Matthew 5:5 to name a few). It is on a restored earth that this resurrection is to take place.

  • its not the "good" and the "bad". If you aren't saved, being "good" won't get you into Heaven. You have to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, not just be "good". In those verses the Bible is talking about the second coming of Christ when the dead in Christ shall rise from the grave. The "good" in these verse is the Saved and the ones who were evil are the unsaved.

  • According to my Bible ALL are "bad" if thats what you call it. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

  • i dont believe in hell and i dont believe that everyone will go to heaven. God will resurrect everyone and the righteous will live on earth forever and the wicked will be no more. see above scriptures written by 69humblepie.

    this is another scripture

    Psalm 37:34
    34 Wait for the LORD and keep his way,
    and he will exalt you to inherit the land;
    you will look on when the wicked are cut off.

  • Do you remember when Jesus told about Lazarus (the poor man) at Abraham's bosom, and the rich man who dined without regard to the poor was sent to Hell, and a great chasm that could not be crossed was between them? Abraham's bosom was not Heaven either, because Heaven wasn't open to souls because of Adam and Eve's sin. Those in their tombs who have done good deeds, and the dead who will hear His voice mentioned only a couple lines earlier in John, I do believe are those in Abraham's bosom - in a sort of Limbo state.

  • (Psalm 115:17) The dead themselves do not praise Jah, Nor do any going down into silence.
    (Psalm 146:4) His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish
    (Genesis 3:19) In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return
    (Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.

  • John 5: 28-29 is telling us about 2 resurrections those who did the good deeds and those who committed the evil deeds. Both are in the tomb (graves) and want be resurrected until they Hear Jesus voice. When that will happen only God knows. Those who did the good deeds to a resurrection life and those who committed evil deeds to resurrection of judgment . Above that John 5:24 is speaking about the Believers they will pass out of death into life. You can read for yourself. They are not part of John 5:28-29.
