  • Dilwale Dulhania LeJayenge: rough translation.. "The Brave Heart Takes The Bride".. Longest running film in India cinema.

Classic movie about young love and going against tradition.

2 Lead characters, both raised in England. Meet by chance on a Euro-Rail tour. Fall in love. She goes to India to fulfill an arranged marrriage. One that was arranged when she was very small and didn't know anything about it. Raj, our hero (LOL), travels to India to win her and her family over..

  • LOL

Yeah.. That happens to me a lot... :-)

So, I've gotten to the point that I will add pics to somethings, or links to videos..etc.. (I do my best to make sure videos have English subtitles.. lol)

Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham: rough translation "Sometimes Happiness..........Sometimes Sadness".. Wonderful film, makes me laugh, makes me dance, makes me cry.. It envokes an array of emotions,. The opening scene, is a mother talking about a mother's love for her son, and how strong and special it is. And a father talking about a father's love for a son, and it's strength and specialness. A comparing of the 2 so to speak.

    Continued....for DDLJ
