  • Actually we do need inflation now. Deflation was what killed the world in the great depression and that is where we are heading now.

Too many goods chasing to few products or too few products chasing too many goods. Recall how large supplies of food sat in warehouses and rotted in the depression?

  • Hrmmmm, the cost outweighing the benefits.... Sounds like the government to me...

  • I remember the Carter years and the 18% rate on our first home, We do not need inflation

  • I agree that it sounds like the government. I swear the government has becoime so GREEDY in the last couple of years. I mean my family is suffering from the electric costs rising. We may soon end up homeless and I can't do that with three kids and a fourth on the way, it's insanity

  • Ignorance is the best explanation I can come up with for what they are thinking.

  • Well, it worked so well for Carter. The gas lines, the mortage interest rate over 22% and the double digit inflation. I lived through all of that as a newly married person. It wasn't fun. Some inflation may be ok, but who will control it? That is what scares me.
