  • WAY OFF. They told me right before I had my son that he was barley 7 pounds but he came out a whopping 8 lbs
Same with my daughter they said she was on the small side and would be about 5 and half pounds full term but she game out weight 6lb 10oz

  • they were really close with both of mine. I had ultra sounds at 40 w/ DS (I didn't want to be induced and they were checking on him) they said he was 8 pounds he was 7 pounds 12 ounces. I had one at 38 weeks w/ DD for a body Mass check. I dunno why they did it since she going to be c-sec. They said she was around five and a half pounds but would put on about a pound a week until birth. My c-sec was five days before my due date she was 7 pounds even.

  • my doctor and ultrasound tech were always dead on. My first child on May 31st was 8lbs I had him June 8th, 2006 and he was 9lbs. Had my second child on Sugust 25th. Ultrasound tech said about 7lbs at 36 weeks and that he would be about 10lbs. when he was born he was 9lbs 7oz.

  • They told me at 36 weeks he was already 8lb 11oz. He was born exactly 3 weeks later and was 8lb 8oz. They were almost 2lb off since they are said to gain a half lb a week he shoulda been 10lb3oz according to the ultrasound.

  • My last child, they said was over 12lbs! They did a csection.... turns out he was 8lbs, 14 oz... ONE ounce bigger than the last "biggest" babe. (got 4 total) I could have had him easy!

  • WOW so it sounds like they were off a lot by the sounds of it... So i shouldn't totally rely on what they tell me. Thanks ladies this helped me out a lot.
