Do you "jazz up" your burgers when you make them at home?

I once tried the inside out burger where the cheese melts in the center. My daughter has actually added saurkraut + to her burgers to "jazz up" them. I usually put the usual on them like one type of cheese, pickles, tomato, ketchup, etc. Some show avocado on a burger which I haven't tried or mashed potatoes on top, etc.

  • I use the packet of onion dry soup mix. It is delicious!

  • I normally mix onion, herbs and montreal steak seasoning into the ground beef, but I don't usually put anything unusual on top.

  • I fry up some bacon sausage and add that to the ground beef as well as blue cheese crumbles.They are soooo YUMMY. Serve with a side of sweet potato fries. Delish!

  • I am pretty old fashioned when it comes to burgers. I like cheese, mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, onion and tomato. And if we dont have the topppings I don't even bother making burgers. It's just not the same. lol.

  • I add a bunch of stuff to the meat before cooking, but not much as far as topping them.

  • We add the cheese in the middle and add chopped spinach and mushrooms to the meat.

    Plus our patties are like a inch think-- not kidding.

    Also toast the buns and romaine lettuce.

  • I'm a total Spice-A-Holic. I LOVE collecting different herbs and spices to use in my cooking! When I'm cooking hamburger (especially making my mini-burgers), I LOVE putting in garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, and Mediterranean/Greek seasoning! It tastes AWESOME!! Especially when I top my mini-burgers with Pace Picante salsa! :-D *drewls*

    Playing with spices and herbs in cooking is awesome!

  • Carmelized onions, sauteed garlic mushrooms, gruyere and blue cheese, and bacon! Heaven in a burger... its been a long time since I've made on like that though. That is a reward for a day spent burning calories- and its been a while since I have done that.

  • A1 steak sauce, pizza sauce, valveeta cheese on it I have done a few others but i can't thing right now
