this month i have been ovulating waaaaay more then usual...and now i am starting to get cramps..what does that mean? can ovulating bring cramps? i just had my period about a weeks ago....just wanting to know, not worried just curious

p.s. dh and i haven't had sex in about a month...

  • Im not sure if ovulating in itself can cause cramps but if youve been consuming a lot of caffeine or have been stressed that can cause ur hormones to go out of whack and cause cramping. Plus if u were very sexually active and then abruptly settled into a no sex routine ur body may not be able to handle the normal daily stress without a tension relieving outlet. Hope that helps!!

  • What do you mean by "ovulating more than usual"? You ovulate once a month, about halfway between periods, not multiple times. And yes, some people cramp when they ovulate. Sounds like you may have a cyst though.
