Anyone have any suggestions on what to get my grandson for his frist Christmas?

My youngest child is almost 14 so I'm not really used to babies. He's very active. He will be 1 on January 28th. I want to get him something that he will be able to play with for a while and not outgrow right away. Any help you could be would be greatly appreciated.
