Justin Timberlake. He was on The View the other day, I thought he was trying to portray himself as something other than a popsinger. I disliked his character in Social Network, but I feel as an actor he did a great job.

Do you think he can make the transition to a serious actor?

  • I was totally not into boy bands even when they were popular, so I always had this sour spot for Justin Timberlake. Over the years however, he keeps catching me by surprise, he seems so damn charming and polite. I have not seen The Social Network yet, but he's definitely going to win me over one of these days. I do see him crossing over, he is admittedly multi-talented.

  • Yes, I do. He has a lot of talent in many areas, not just as a singer. Have you seen him on Saturday Night LIve? He is a terrific comic actor and there is much more to him than just being a "pop singer". He HAS done other acting jobs. Look him up on IMDB.com

Like many actors before him. Take Jimmy Smith the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"

  • I totally think he can do well. There are lots of actors that started out as something else. But, let's compare apples to apples...look at what Mark Wahlberg has done. He went from boy-band-pop-singer to actor. And, I think he has done a fine job of it.
