Do you think your parents ever chose favorites?

And would you ever choose a favorite?

I think my parents treated us all the same. My sister just need more attention since she was born with a birth defect. And I love both my boys the same =]

  • My mom always favored my two older brothers, me and my sister were always wrong! I still love my mom dearly but it taught me to be careful of how I treat my own children. I tell my 10 year old that he is my fave 10 year old, 7 year old that he is my fave 7 year old and my daughter that she is my fave daughter, since she is my only daughter!!

  • my baby brother could do no wrong, although my mother would vehimetly deny this. Anytime that boy cried wolf, she came running and me or my siblings must have done something to cause his distress. We were more upset with mom than him tho. We're all cool now tho, as adults.

  • Yes. My mother freely admitted my brother was her favorite. It hurt. I can't understand how people can have favorites. I couldn't love anyone more than I love each of my children already.

  • My Mom thought my brother could do no wrong....until he grew up,flunked out of college, quit all his jobs and left his wife. hmmm. Then she changed her mind...and apologized to me ...20 years later,LOL.
I never "favored" any one of my three kids.

  • I think my parents loved us all the same, but I dont think i was the favorite. I was the quiet, shy, non athletic one and my 2 sisters were the complete opposite. All parents treat each kid some what different, since each child is different.
