  • I personally don't think there's anything wrong with him. Sure, he's not educational, but whatever. I don't feel like every show my child watches has to be educational. And she's extremely smart, has great manners, listens as well as a 4 year old can. She has never done anything because she "saw it on spongebob." My friend, however hates Spongebob. Says he's crude, etc., etc. But then lets her boy watch cartoons where the characters are beating each other up, or fighting for something. And then she wonders why he headbutts or pushes when he's mad. Or why in the world he might have pushed my daughter down the stairs because she had something he wanted. But she's the prefect parent, and everyone else is doing things wrong. Sorry San, I guess it's been a long day, so vent came out instead of a short, sweet answer.

  • I love Spongebob. I can't imagine anyone thinking it's too adult. That's crazy.

  • It does have some adult humor and also at times kind of crude and gross behavior. There is nothing educational about it, just merely for enjoyment. My kids have watched it occasionally, but I would rather that they don't watch it.

  • The first episode I saw of it was about making fun of someone whose pants slip up the back when he bent over. Not bahaviour i want my kids being taught.
