How do you serve up your dried beans? (Northern, Red Kidney, Split Pea, etc.)

I like using the red kidney, lentils and split peas in various meals. Usually the red kidney beans end up in a very mild chili. Also I use the split peas in a delicious pea soup when I find a ham on sale. Occasionally I have made lentil soup which is accompanied by my favorite vegetable which is spinach.
