  • The problem with the pregnancy tests is some don't give accurate readings if you take them too soon. I took a pregnancy test when I thought I was pregnant with my daughter and the test said I wasn't . Sometimes you need to take the test again for more accurate results or try a different brand of pregnancy test.

  • I had negatives until I was 8 weeks. Best thing is to go to the dr and get a blood test done. Good Luck!!!

  • I didn't take a preg test until I was 2 months in. The lined ones said I wasn't. I had to take a digital one before I got a positive.

  • get a blood test done. its the only 100% accurate test to tell if ur pregnant. if ur doc doesnt do it, demand it. the only way it can be wrong is if someone writes it down wrong. good luck

  • It's possible to get a false negative, yes, especially very early on, when you don't have enough hCG hormones in your blood. However, an "extended belly" doesn't happen till much later on, when you SHOULD be getting a positive, even with a urine test. So I'd say go see your doctor and ask for a blood test.
