  • the last movie we saw, we paid 8.75 + 3.00 (3D glasses-RENTAL..that sooo irks me!!) for all three of discount for the kid, either. after one bag of popcorn, one plain hotdog, one small crappy order of nachos, and three small drinks..we spent over $60.

  • Sad that I remember the $1.00 movies for the matinee and some times .75 cents on Saturdays for the first movie of the day!

Sure was different in the 1970's! LOL

  • OMG I SO miss the Drive Ins! We used to have about 5 here in my town spread out, some times they played two movies a night and some were double screens.

Now the only drive in we have in town is SONIC!!! LOL So sad!

  • Here in big ol' Salisbury NC we pay I think $7.25, but I never go to that one. We have an older $2 cinema with less comfortable seating but if I'm saving 5 bucks a person it's worth it lol! My hubby and I generally just wait until the movie comes out in the redbox machine, haha.

  • Last time we went to see something in Theaters, hubby and I went to see Public Enemies (and even then, that was the first time in years I'd been to the movies) and it was something like almost 10 bucks each for the tickets alone)
