Kidney pain when peeing

What would cause pain in your kidney when your urinating, no pain any other time just when urinating. Would this be a start of a kidney infection or something, or would it be something else, trying to figure out if it would be doctor worthy.

  • yea sounds like the beginning of a uti. or mightve already been a uti and already traveled to the kidneys. both my girls just went thru them. went back and forth all last week and did plenty of research and it sounds like it. go to WebMD and it'll give you some more info too

  • i was just in er last night for a kindey infection pains started out as a slight burn after or while i peed then it pregressede into back pain and right lower abdominal pain, i have a sever kindey infection and they gave me a morphine drip cuae pain was so bad.Def go check it out before it gets as bad as mine..Youll need antibiotic..Feel better!!

  • could either be a kidney infection or kidney stones.. call your dr.. if the pain gets too bad to go the er.. good luck!

  • Could be stones. I read that drinking lemon juice will help dissolve them.

  • Try drinking cranberry juice.. stop cokes. Lots of water to flush the kidneys out.
