Why don't people who disagree with the American constitution leave?

If you live in a free America why would you be so disagreeable with our constitution? If you don't like America leave go live in Iran ,Cuba,Or russia where they live a communistic lifestyle. Thats whats so great about America we have a free choice we live as we want and so far we have been allowed to have our own wealth if we work hard and earn it. We also have the freedom to vote, so vote wisely we may lose the right.

...as ironic as it is, they don't leave because the constitution that they despise so much states that this is a free country and if they are here legally they don't HAVE to leave...

  • If you look at history, if there weren't people who disagreed with the US Constitution, women wouldn't have the right to vote. Just a thought.

  • And that's true toriandgrace... but I think the OP is talking about those who whine about things they can't have. A lot of those people have this sense of entitlement to things they didn't earn. It pisses me off too.

  • what I have seen lately is that anyone who disagree with the "constitution" (government) is call unpatriotic. I mean even elected officials are saying some states are more patriotic than others just because those states swing their way. slavery, segragation, voting rights.. all those isues were fought by "disagreeing" with the constitution.

  • Umm... where in the constitution were slavery and segregation mandated? And women's sufferage was added to the constitution... but it was never said in it that women couldn't vote. All of those issues were individual laws, or weren't even laws at all...just common practice.
