I went to my PCP today for the first time as we just moved. I wanted to discuss a number of issue I have been having. One of these issues was the fact that its been 20 months since I stopped breastfeeding. She said she would test the prolactin level (Ive had it tested before and the other doctor said it was normal). Then she went on to say that they could give me some medication to help dry it up. Other than things like sudafed which I know people have used (didn't work for me) is there still prescriptions out there that dry it up? I thought these medications were banned in the 70's, or is there something else on the market these days?Answer Question
