need help with flakey skin

I am in south Louisiana where we basically swim, don't walk. We're actually under a burn ban right now cause our humidity is so low, we're like fish out of water. It's playin hell on my skin! My face is flaking and my scalp is horrible. My regular moisturizer for my face isn't cutting it anymore. Any suggestions?

  • Jordan Essentials Shea Body Butter.  It's the best out there. No mineral oil or parabens. Only natural plant oils.

  • Olive oil or cocoa butter

  • Start at the beginning: Buy a loofah and use that in the shower to help slough away the dead/flaky skin. Follow up with Shea Butter lotion for your skin. I have to agree with everyone else on using olive oil for your scalp.

  • Moisturize after getting out of the shower and make sure you are drinking LOTS of water!

  • Don't towel dry, just put lotion on and olive oil is great, but I have to shower after awhile, I don't like the feel, but it does work good for what little time I put it on.
