  • my son is 16 months old & he still uses baby toothpaste. the DR said not to use toothpaste with floride until he can actually rinse his mouth out on his own.

  • Hmmm awesome question but I have still not competley switched even my five year old. If they put the toothpaste on themsevels then they have to use the training but when I put it on for my 4 and 5 month old I will put regular toothpaste. But that has only happened in the last few months or so.

  • No one in my house uses toothpaste with fluoride, it's not healthy. We all use "regular" toothpaste from Toms of Maine... But I do still buy the Peach Flavored one for the boys cause they don't like the mint.

  • My daughter is 2 1/2 and she uses both. BUT I don't give her flouride drops or nursery water anymore because too much flouride is bad for children. She's very good about TRYING to spit out her toothpaste.
She brushes her teeth on her own to start. We got her a little spin brush to make it fun for her and she brushes her teeth while I brush mine and then I help her finish up.

  • I don't use toothpaste with fluoride and I putt on the toothpaste for my kids because they only need a pea size. My 11 year old dose it by his self

  • we taught dd how to spit the toothpaste out when we brush her teeth about 6 months ago. so she's been using toothpaste with flouride ever since.....and that includes the children's toothpaste that has flouride in it.

  • My daughter is 22 m/o and still uses kid's toothpaste. She won't be using regular toothpaste until she can rinse & spit out on her own.
