What do you recommend for stained carpets? Besides new carpeting.

  • shampooing it. suposedly oxyclean is good. i don't personally know. but research it maybe.

  • resolve or woolite. but it depends on how big the area is. sometimes you can get a special deal from a carpet cleaning service. Like this many rooms for this much money or you can go buy a steamer. bissel makes some pretty cool ones for not a whole lotta money.

  • What kind of stain? I use the stuff at the dollar store LA's totally awesome and carpet shampoo. then vinegar and water rinse. If its red try peroxide. Poo? Soda water or an enzyme cleaner. I find that a scrub brush and baby soap do well also. Do NOT use dishwasher soap. Ithas bleaching agents and will turn carpet lighter color. Always use a white towel, as you can see what you are pulling out of carpet annd when you're pulling up water. Hope that helps
