can you have a period like bleeding while your pregnant.....

cause my friends sister had a period like bleeding for four months while she was pregnant. and my last period was July 5th and now im having a period like bleeding and im 13 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

  • yes you can have bleeding during your pregnancy it should be lite and not a huge problem but if you are worried i would suggest you call your doctor it is always a good practice to keep them in the loop. still you should be fine so don't stress

  • Yes sweetie you can bleed as if its a period, but its not always a good sign. Im not trying to upset you because it could be nothing but your body adjusting but always always when there is a sign of blood consult your doctor or go into the ER for a quick examination (if there is such a thing as a quick exam) Always be safe than sorry because you just never know. Its better to be told to take it easy and rest than the alternative. Ok. Call your doctor or the hospital, please. Hugs for you and your baby!

  • That's not considered normal. Blood can be a sign of dilating, of the placenta coming off of the uterine wall, and miscarriage. You need to call your doctor immediately.

  • i saw my dr friday and he said its not uncommon to bleed like this but its not really heavy and i go get an ultrasound this coming Monday.
