do you buy your kids belts. my dd is 18months but length wise 24 months is fine but the waist is just so big. so i was thinking belts but not sure if its worth it.

  • I don't. I buy the pants with adjustable waists. Also, leggings tend to stay up, even if they're a little big in the waist. Avoid Koala Kids brand anything, they're made for very chubby kids. You can also get overalls, and jumpers, and dresses become really useful when you start potty training.

  • I didn't. their bellies are the biggest part, so even a belt won't help keep pants on. We liked overalls... as Swasson suggested.

  • Check out smartie pants and then do the same thing they do, but with a mitten clip (because it's a lot cheaper) I also think Old Navy and Gap pants have a slimmer fit.

  • Either that or an expandable waist line so they fit her better. My DD had a couple of jeans she had belts to. If you do go for belts, be sure they are more cloth like and not stiff. The stiff leathery ones never worked well for keeping her jeans up and were actually more uncomfortable.
