  • braxton hicks will stop if u get up and get active. real ones will get worse. make sure to drink plenty of water. if u get a UTI it can cause ur bladder to contract which can also feel like labor. i have had braxton hicks that were regular before so time really doesnt matter. what matters is if they progressively get worse. and good luck

  • They are just like real contractions only they stop.

  • Braxton hicks won't hurt, and they will be very irregular in time. Real contractions will have pain with them, in my experience it just felt like a mild menstrual cramp mixed with gas cramps, and the tightness you feel during the contractions. Real contractions will be spaced the same amount of time apart - and last the same amount of time, gradually getting stronger and longer times of tightness. Time them - if they're exactly 5-7 min apart or so call the doc. Take it easy & drink a lot of water & rest! :) I had braxton hicks and they were every 5 min or so for over an hour and they say if it's every 5 min or so for more than 1/2 hour call the doc.
