Any have suggestions on what to feed my 12 month old?

She has no teeth yet but isn't all that interested in baby food anymore. She's on formula. I do instant oatmeal, she likes that and some fruit in tiny pieces but other than that I'm struggling to find something she can eat.

  • My kids were all eating regular table food (cut up or mashed of course) by 8 months, and were late teethers. You use your back molars to chew, and most kids don't get those until well into their 2nd year. Some of my kids favorites were steamed carrot and potatoes, rotini pasta (easy to pick up), cheese cubes, blueberries, cut up grapes, etc.

  • mashed potatoes, cooked carrots, eggs, fruit (cut up), cheese, and pasta! Have fun with it. This is so much fun to see their reactions to certain/new textures.
