How would you clean a bottle of dish soap out of the carpet?

  • Well we used a really wet cloth diaper and then a dry one...MANY MANY MANY times (until the bubbles were no more =)

  • This would depend on if it's fresh or not. If it's been sitting in the carpet for hours, than I'd get a rental shampooer or a wet/dry vaccumn with a longer type of hose and flat / wide nozzle, wet hit first , than start to bring it up.
    If it's just spilled recently and is still wet, not too sticky, just get a plastic gallon milk jug, get a pair of scissors or a straight edged razor cutter and slice the whole jug in half, and use as a scooper. put the contents of dish soap into a bag and toss it.... it's not good.
