How is body fat measured? What is a good percentage for a woman that has gone through menopause.

  • there is an actual formula for it. i am 40 and mine is 23 or 22 which is great but it has to do with your frame size and height, too. go to a health site like self magazine or webmd and look up how to calculate it. i did mine once and it was accurate t owhat my digital scale says. some scales liek mine from wlamart but digi, will give you your boddy mass index along with or after your weight, it will also give you how much up or down you are from last weigh in.

  • Do you mean BMI...Body mass index. Under 25 is good for anyone.
