  • Well, high school kids want privileges and late curfews and to be treated as if they are "older". They don't want to be treated as "little kids". Therefore, they shouldn't be participating in little kid activities - and that's what trick or treating is. It's a "little kid" activity.

  • My local town - states that 12 is the limit for trick or treating that one they hit that official teen year of 13 - they are done. Written ordinance. This is for door to door trick or treating because usually by that get they are without parental supervision and playing pranks and not just trick or treating.

  • I would hate to live in twinsplus2more's town! I don't think there is a "too old" age. I had a friend who quit letting her kids dress up at 4th grade.

  • I am happy to hand out candy to anyone that shows up at least with a made -up face or costume effort.I give to anyone that rings my bell but not so happy with out the costume or make up.As long as mine put out full effort they may go.
