ok so people say that once you get stretch marks they are there for life but...

my husband is a body builder. he stopped working out for about 2 months, he stopped in december and started again in february. well he thought that he'd be able to squat as much as he was able to before he stopped. he pushed himself too far and ended up with these thick, deep, dark red stretch marks on his thighs, he's very pale too so they were very noticeable. well last night i was in bed with him rubbing his thigh and i realized "your stretch marks are completely gone!" not faded but gone, his skin is totally back to normal, texture and everything. i suppose i hadn't noticed cause they never bothered me but how? women always say they'll only fade but they're there forever. he never treated them either, just ignored them. how could this have happened an has anyone else had their deep stretch marks completely go away in less than a year???

  • I am not sure how it happens. But, I had horriable stretch marks around my belly button and all over the lower part of my belly when I was pregnant with my son. It took about a year but, they all went away! I'm talking nasty dark blue and white ones lol I am now pregnant again 35 weeks and have them again. I am hoping they go away just like last time :)
