How do you propose the President should 'create' jobs.

How exactly does one man 'create' sustainable jobs. Every one thinks he should be doing this but how exactly is that done.

  • I didn't realize the Republicans had enough votes to block something on their own. Also, what else was in that bill?

  • Stop screwing with the economy, stop begging and extorting the fed to release more cash into the system which only makes things worse, stop threatening new taxes on business, stop generally creating a climate of fear in the business sector, stop agitating allies we need to BUY things from us, stop making promises on issues like environment we cannot afford to keep. Oh, and stop signing the bills the morons pass that make these things happen. That would be a good start.

  • The pres.'s responsibility is to create an economic climate that is condusive for job growth in the private sector. The gov't doesn't create jobs. It never has. It never should. Hopefully, it never will.

  • Legislation (so Congress as opposed to the Pres)and policies made affect business- Business has the ability to enhance or stall sustainable job growth. Hence the pandering..... The politicans, BB and unions hold the economy in their tight fist.

  • Why would large companies want to keep their work here when the taxes on businesses are so high small business owners no matter how well they're doing can scarcely afford to pay themselves much less hire employees?

  • WOW, what a defense. I would expect that statement from some of the dumber CM members.

You still didn't mention what else was in the bill. Go ahead, look it up.
