  • Yes, I did when I was 46. I did a whole lot better and got really good grades. I was able to get good jobs afterwards too. GO FOR IT!

  • Only for a Masters or above. The subjects I'm interested in, I've been interested in for decades and I would never be able to return to undergrad studies --I know too much and I'm too opinionated to accept their version of The Truth of the subject enough to pass the course.

    Of course, most colleges won't tell you that you can apply directly for a Masters degree program with no previous degree, based on life experience and work... and that gets easier and easier the further past 35 you are.

  • My mum started a degree course at university when she was 41, she is now in her 3rd and final yr.
