  • I guess it could go both ways but it is an awfully feminine name to give a boy.

  • I think its a boy name. I've known 3 Skyler's so far during my lifetime and never heard a girl called Skyler

  • any male named skyler was definitely named by a mother that wanted a girl

  • It used to be a boy's name, and was spelled Schuyler. Then some dumb people started spelling it phonetically, and started naming girls that.

  • It can be a girl or boy name. I personally like it as a girls name

  • Skye for a girl and Skylar I think it can go both ways. I like the name but I wouldn't pick it for my son. I thought about it and decided it sounded more feminine than masculine.
