  • He won't get the tearing gifts open thing, or understand the Christmas celebration thing this year, plus, at 7 months, the toys aren't all that exciting yet. Look for a good 6-18 month toy that he doesn't have yet, and go with a savings bond, donation to college fund, etc. for the main gift. NEXT year will be fun for everyone, because ripping gifts open will be a joy for him!

  • he's still small so i would say shoes clothing and some musical toys or maybe a push toy that he could crawl with.

  • Besides the "babys' first christmas" ornament, bib, and sleeper... maybe some little people sets, that he will be able to play with when hes a bit older(but they get years of use, so a good buy). Maybe a special blanket, or a personalized toy box for his room/play area. I think I got ds the playskool busy ball popper, its a great toy! the balls go through these tubes and pop out the top. Board books, stacking cups.

  • I'd get an activity table. The one I had for my twins had activities down low for crawling or sitting babies as well as activities up top for cruising or walking babies. They used it a lot for a long time. They also had a Fisher Price Learning Playhouse that was pretty cool; it is a door with activities on both sides.
