How long do you wait to eat them after you take them out of the oven?

I wait maybe a minute....lol

  • Long enough to get them off the pan and onto the rack so they don't cook any more - I hate over done cookies!

  • Once they are off the pan, they are fair game to be eaten... I make 12 dozen cookies at a time and am lucky to have them last a week with my 3 children and husband munching them down (almost as fast as I bake them). LOL

  • Just be on the save side and wait 5 minutes if you are giving them to your young children. So they don't burn their little mouths. Make sure you have a cold glass of milk to go with them.
