  • I'm wrestling with this prhase lately and I hate that I've loved and lost. I am just wishing right now it all never happened. So maybe I go against the crowd and never have loved at all (at least this one particular case).

  • To me, I feel it is better to have loved, even if you lost it, because then it opens your heart. It is then your decision whether you want to allow the pain to be upper hand, which then causes you to be bitter and angry, or choose to move forward and allow that love to grow into compassion.

  • I hold it true, whate'er befall;
    I feel it, when I sorrow most;
    'Tis better to have loved and lost
    Than never to have loved at all.
