How do I donate blankets and things to needy newborn babies?

I'm going to be making hats, blankets, etc. for babies in need but I can't find a place here in Vegas to take the stuff to.
I've googled everything I can think of. "Newborns In Need" doesn't have a branch here. What do I do?

  • Call the maternity wing of the hospital or the NICU. I bet they would love them. When my son was born, I recieved a knitted hat and booties that volunteers made for every baby born at the hospital. Also, a womens shelter or domestic violence shelter.

  • Here's one idea..............

Project Linus has many chapters. Look at their website before you start to sew and see what they look for in donations. I made a few things for them before my DH was laid off.
