Can love even be considered a psychological disorder?

Just a random question in which was sparked by a person I know being so in love with someone that it is becoming scary (not stalkerish just weird random things like gifts, cards, letters etc...) and this someone not feeling the same about them.

  • lol I don't think love is a disorder, but there are times some people wish it was prolly. That way they can deal with heartbreak easier lol

  • No~~ but if the recipient doesn't love them in return, the 'love' can turn into a psychological disorder. Or the person that 'loves' will just end up with a broken heart. But no, I don't think love is ever considered a psychological disorder.

  • I don't think love could be classified as a psychological disorder, but it is possible for people to develop obsessions that become abnormal, yes.
