What is the quickest way to thaw out ice cream?

LOL...You know how sometimes you go in there to dig some out and it is so frozen you just might have to let it sit...Well what I do for those who do not do this I stick it in the microwave for 30 to 40 seconds and no more hurting your hand.

  • I put ice cream scooper in hot water but you don't have to with all ice creams. Some don't get hard like that

  • I stick it in the microwave for a few seconds. Works every time. At my dad's we keep the ice cream in the deep freezer in the basement so it's always frozen solid. The only way to get it out is to thaw it in the microwave.

  • I'm glad you explained that one, my first thought when I reader the header on the question was "Isn't it SUPPOSED to be frozen?" I have had a long weekend. Barely any sleep as both the kids are sick and that header just really threw me for a loop!

    But I use the microwave.
