  • I gave mine the entire egg, just like the doctor and nutirionist told me to do.

  • Well, if this helps, my son has a milk protein allergy so we didn't know if eggs would effect him or not. I started with the whites, which he LOVES. Then I took him to the doctor for his 9 month check up and she said you are actually suppose to start them with the yolk, then the white. lol So oops, but his little tummy is fine thank goodness! My doctor said babies can start eggs between 9-12 months. Yolk, than whites. I boiled them! He loves boiled eggs HATES scrambled. My 2.5 year old loves them both.

  • Depends on their age. They "recommend" you stay away from egg whites until they are 2. I always gave my kids eggs when they started eating table food.

  • My baby book says only yolks should be fed, but I always scrambled up the whole thing.

  • I think its something to do with the high amount of protein in the white. I was always told no whites til after 12 months.
