My son is 1. When is hot dogs ok for babies/toddlers?

  • Cut them up into dices, not round slices. When they're round like that they can get caught in the throat and block airways. My son was 1 when he had his 1st hotdog...his 1st birthday actually.

  • My son started eating real food at 11 months. He now devour's hot dogs! I did the round pieces but i can see where the other mom is coming from with not doing the round pieces deff cut them up he should do fine good luck!

  • i think i have seen hotdogs for toddler in the baby food jars. looks like they don't have any skin. not sure how they would taste though.
